Terms of use

Domain Finder · last updated 15 October 2026

These terms are the rules for using Domain Finder (the “site”), run by Oyoxa. By using the site or creating an account you agree to them. How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy.

The short version. We show domain names that were unregistered when we last checked. That is a guide, not a guarantee: always confirm availability with your registrar before you buy, and check that a name does not infringe someone’s trademark. Use the site fairly, don’t copy the whole list, and we will keep it free to try.

1. What the site does

Domain Finder helps you discover possible domain names. It checks names against public registry data, scores them for how they read and sound, and lets you browse, search, swipe, filter and shortlist them, and run a “hunt” to narrow down to one name for a project. Some features need a free account; some are reserved for paid “Plus” accounts if and when those are offered.

2. “Available” does not mean you can buy it

3. Your account

Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done through it. You can stop using the site, or ask us to delete your account, at any time.

4. Fair use

The site has limits (for example on free-preview swipes, re-checks, searches, word seeding and AI searches) to keep it fast and affordable for everyone. Plans and limits are described on the site and may change. You must not:

If you do, we may restrict or close your access without notice.

5. What you give us

When you vote, like or pass on names, choose between names in a hunt, or enter topics, you let us use that to run and improve the service — including combining votes into community rankings. We do not claim ownership of your shortlists, which stay in your browser, or of the names you pick in a hunt.

6. Our content

The site, its software, its scoring and the compiled, checked list of names are ours. You may use the names you find to decide what to register, but you may not republish or resell the list or its scores.

7. Links and registrars

Links to registrars and other sites are for your convenience; we do not control them and are not responsible for what they say, charge or do. If we use affiliate links we will say so on the site, and we may then earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Whether we do or not never changes how names are listed or ranked.

7a. Preview pages

A preview page is a short “coming soon” page we host for a name you chose, with a waitlist form. It is not hosting for your real site, it ends after 60 days, and it is marked as a preview. You are responsible for what it says and for what you do with the email addresses people give it: use them only to tell people about the thing they signed up for, and delete them when asked. Do not use a preview page to impersonate a person or business, to mislead, to collect anything other than an email address, or for anything unlawful. We may remove any page, and anyone can report one from the page itself.

8. Paid plans

Paid plans are not on sale yet. When they are, the price, what is included and how to cancel will be shown clearly before you pay, and your statutory rights as a consumer will apply.

9. Availability of the site, and liability

We aim to keep the site running but it is provided “as is”, may be unavailable at times, and features may change or be withdrawn. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach, for loss of profit or business, or for the consequences of choosing, buying or using a domain name based on the site.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or end access to the site or to an account for breach of these terms, and you may stop using it at any time.

11. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can decide disputes (if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also use your local courts). Questions or complaints: privacy@oyoxa.com.
